It's bittersweet. I was there sitting in the Bojangles watching them hang it ... it was kinda neat at the time.

Wonder what they're gonna do with that thing? It could make a great slip-and-slide...

Cut it up in pieces and give it to the players. IDK, just guessing.

Definitely the right move. Hate how Spurrier went out- for both us and him but time to move on.

It was time.

Going to be interesting to see what they hang in it's place. It was always meant to be something flexible, in terms of constantly changing, it has a lot of potential.

Our record with the banner on the stadium versus the couple of years pre-banner is astounding.

Sorry, but that banner brought us bad luck. I wanted it to come down after Spurrier left in hopes it would bring us better fortune.

I was just about to point that out. That banner ended up being a curse.

You have a Bojangles next to your stadium?

They've torn that one down unfortunately. It was in a great location too, especially with me walking from our tailgate spot in front of Carolina Rigging to the fairgrounds to see friends scattered around there. It was literally half way in between, and getting food helped counter my alcohol consumption.

Shoot...next time you're in town for a game try Bernie's Chicken. Locally owned joint but good Lawd they can make some fried chicken. It's within walking distance of the stadium, as well.

Dawn Staley banner?

Even with football and baseball, Dawn could wind up with the most impressive resume at South Carolina.

Mizzou is 8-0 but has not played anybody. Cats and Cocks are still both undefeated. Interesting as both have now beaten a ranked ASU and both will play Duke in non conference.

Scrooster, Vandy game is Thursday at 9pm (hate they gave it the late slot) so let me know what you are thinking in the next few weeks.

I've never made it up there. It's on my to-do list, so hopefully I can come up next year.
I love Fried Chicken.
