Look at it this way ... it's not nearly as bad as Mizzou, MSU, Ole Miss, maybe even Kentucky, certainly not as bad as Vandy.

We've got better facilities.

We've got more money, better fan support, far less negatives.

We've got a young and energetic football staff in place.

All of our programs are competitive within our athletic department.

I just lulz'd at Mizzou again .... they talk so much shite.

We're going to sign a nice little recruiting class in football.

We're trending upwards in football.

We're looking forward to men's and women's basketball.

We're thinking of a return trip to Omaha in baseball.

Golf programs are poised for good seasons.

Women's soccer is overachieving.

Construction of the new football office building is about to get underway.

What else you got?

Even if Muschamp doesn't work out for wins, he will recruit at a high level and set up the next guy very well.

I still find the conspiracy theories that this was the plan all along fascinating...and very devious if it turns out to have even a smidgen of truth to it. Honestly..if that's what it takes to win..frickin' do it. Winning takes being ruthless in a lot of situations, after all.

Currently building the sarcophagus. Will Muschamp be able to build it? Who knows at this point.

I like where the basketball and baseball programs are trending. I would like to start seeing our men's basketball staff under Coach Martin target in-state recruiting better than they have, as we have quite a lot of elite in-state talent coming up (and have been coming up) that are 5* and high 4* elite caliber, but are also looking to leave the state to other major programs.

I know - we got to start winning games in order to attract the better talent, but I'd at least like to see our staff jumping on that better talent that's in-state earlier anyways, and giving as much effort there as other OOS programs are doing. We recruited Seventh Woods and Devonta Shuler from the start, but seem to be lagging behind many others with Zion Williamson, Christian Brown, D.J. Burns, etc.

The 2019 in-state class is huge with talent. Hopefully we have another winning season and gain some headway with most of those prospects....

Coach Martin is working his tail off. This season is going to be critical for our future. We really need to make the dance this year ... that's what the kids wanna see. That and early playing time.

I agree. If you look on the football side of it, players like Xavier Thomas grew up seeing us dominate. The basketball program is just now starting to get traction. A lot of our in state guys are getting offers from programs sending guys to the next level. While we have had success, we haven't exactly been able to do that. Frank is currently the definition of doing more with less. He will start getting his in terms of in state talent. If you watch his SEC media days interview he said as much. Talked about how now when he calls recruits, it's not just his name that will get his foot in the door, its our program.
