I've seen some Jammie > DJ comparisons. Rated the same, same build, same fire. Gonna be keepin my eye on him.
I hope he’s better than DJ but with the same intensity and on field leadership.

Kaba was a huge get though. Good LBers are crucial in the SEC and that seems to be one of our weakspots at the moment.
No doubt, great LBs can make all the difference in the world. Saban has practically built a career on great LBs. I remember Danny Ford used to tell me every time I talked to him that he wou,d always recruit all the best TEs and LBs he could get his hands on because they are always the best athletes and typically the best leaders.

The DLine could be the highlight of the recruiting class though. Burch, Tonka, Murphy (NC), Huntley, etc would be a huuuuge class. I think if Tank commits soon that could get the ball rolling on a couple more of these guys.
I sure hope you’re right. If we start loading up on guys in the trenches every year that could be a harbinger of good things to come. We’re looking pretty good with Evans and Grimes too right? Kids outta NC and TN respectively. Bailey and Scott too ... they’re probably consolation prizes I guess.
I love these two new coaching hires. Scott, Jr, and Brown.

They are both def looking at us but I think Evans stays in NC and Grimes is a Bama legacy. Grimes people really like SC though so if he were to go somewhere thats not Bama, its here.

Brown especially. I think we will see a huge turnaround at the RB position, and thats my favorite position to have an electric player in. Hes already got alot of RB talent looking our way.
Also, the Feaster rumors as of Friday have heated up. Makes sense tbh. its an hour away from home (Spartanburg), a school with a garenteed starting spot, and alot of primetime talent to play against and show off for scouts. We will see how that escalates but as of Friday, we entered the picture.

Grimes is taking his official to Carolina june 7-9.

yea we will need to blow his mind in order to convince him.
Sounds like a fantastic time for a big commit....

I like Grimes at TE more than him at DE. He is a stud DE but he has unreal upside and potential at TE.

I hope you’re right. A big time play making running back could change our fortunes overnight. It does beg the question though .... why did he never reach his potential at CU?

I thought he was fantastic at Clemson, but due to Clemson having a massive amount of talent he just got overshadowed. In 2017 he was costarter with Etienne and played great. Etienne just turned out to be a beast and won the job.
Prime example of how players always wanna go to the big schools, when they could go elsewhere and be the started from day one. Idk how people dont get that. If someone like Jaycee Horn goes to UGA he doesnt play til his Junior year.
Either way I'll take him. RB is a position of need. Would be a nice segway into 2020 when we hopefully get a bigtime guy(tank?)

Yea I don't think it was that he never reached his potential, more that Etienne is a man on the field. His brother is a 2022 kid and looks to be a stud too. Maybe we can land him like the James/Mike deal.

I hope you’re right. The rumors are just crazy right now everything from Mizzou to Oklahoma to Bama to us.
He would probably fit in well here. Not sure how it’s looking though.

A coach at Burch’s school was asked this week by a buddy of mine where things stood with Burch and the coach said right now it seemed to be between SC and LSU. This is the first I’ve heard of LSU but LSU is killing it this recruiting cycle - they recently got a commit from a 5* LB in VA.

From what ive got regarding Burch, id be surprised if he leaves the state.

Burch's family wants him at USC . I haven't heard anything about lsu but I've heard georgia is making a hard push. I think he is ours in the end.

Did we just land Marshawn Lloyd?

Yessir we did! Will be a battle holding on to him, now to get Bigsby in the fold too

Yes, we did. Lloyd fills the one open slot for this class of two RB position spots, that we were not so sure about....Tank Bigsby has been referred to as a strong lean to us, and even a silent commit to us, for a while.
We're expecting to have a pretty big recruiting weekend this coming weekend, and Bigsby is expected to official visit this weekend, along with DE Miles Murphy, LB Bryson Eason, OL Jazston Turnetine and Josh Braun, and CB Dominick Hill, among others.
Tank was also expected to make his announcement at the end of this month, so everything is lining up for him to commit in a few days. A 2020 RB class of Lloyd and Bigsby would not be too shabby a class for first-year RB Coach Brown, I imagine....

Getting Thomas Brown and removing Bobby Bentley as the RB coach was the best decision Muschamp has made

TBS is reporting Jordan Burch and Desmond Tisdol will also be visiting this weekend.
