a lot of buzz around State about him.
Also, something of not regarding in state recruiting, apparently other than the present commits and 5* DE Zach Pickens, we aren't looking at anyone else in state this cycle. It is that bad.

Sc in state talent is really bad this year. With Shrader goingbto MSU mmakes Hilinksi a must get. Tony said Shrader comitted to the coaches on saturday but im not sure if im buying that.

Ryan Hilinski seems to be implying on Twitter that he will make a commitment tomorrow.
Perhaps he’s just been waiting to see if Schrader went elsewhere? Would be a monstrous get.

God i hope so, as ive been verbal here i wanted Ryan way more than Shrader...we have enough raw atletic qbs on staff need a true qb just incase they dont pan out.
247 West coast scout just put in a cb in for us to get Ryan and said he is announcing tomorrow at noon (likely pst so 3pm for us)

really looking foward to hear what SCROOSTER has to say about my take on this and how it all went down...i think hilinski told shrader he was coming and it scared him, also his relationship with MSU coach. Would have loved to have both but with limited numbers Hilinski was the one i wanted....Jerri Spurrier was huge here as well. She saw him and gave him a hug and knew exactly who he was and it left an impression on him and his family.

Yeah a lot of CBs are coming in for us on Hilinski tonight, so things are looking good right now...

Georgia had a 50% CB before his visit to us. I guess they were expecting to wow him during a visit to their spring game

lot of salt in the shrader comittment thread on the SEC recruiting page...i gave my 2 cents and got nothing but downvotes haha Hilinski is the better qb hands down

I'd go along with that. Hilinski is better right now and is less risky than Shrader. I do think with good development, Shrader could be right there with if not slightly above Hilinski in terms of upside.

agree to disagree give me the kid who looks good against top competition in Cali and one of the toughest conferences in America over the kid who looks decent against private NC schools

Oh no doubt. My thing on shrader is ATHLETICALLY he looks better to me. the downside with him is can he be developed to throw the ball as well as Hilinski? I'm not sure he can, which is why I'm more in the Hilinski bandwagon as well.

Hilinski is no slouch tucking an running either check the film i posted on him from his jr year...shrader is alot like nosovich a great athlete but developing qb we need to get away from those and get polished qbs
