I'm hoping to see a kink in the taterheads' recruiting armour soon. We're putting a lot of pressure on them.

Oh yes I'm sure we've gotten them realizing that we're in the same state with them now.....

They've known that for awhile ... all it'll take us for us to beat their arse and I have a feeling it will send them into a decline.

They are not built for long term stability right now. Too many people, enemies of theirs, looking for buried skeletons.

Arky commit John Mincey just decomitted. We have been after him for a while now. He would be solid addition to take Characters spot.

Boom pitched a fit about this last year .... and Spurrier had on several occasions several years ago. Spurrier gave them an ultimatum at the time and some people (2) were fired.

I suspect Boom will be patient, for maybe 10 days, then he is going to have a meeting they will not like. He is well-known for blowing-up in meetings with support staff and, while admissions/financial aid/compliance are not support staff ... they know better than to drag their feet on his prospects because he is always very open and clear with them about getting his signees pre-qualified BEFORE they sign.

He'll have a legit bone to pick if those two are not cleared before students report back to school for this next semester which is what, Tuesday? I'd have to text my Goddaughter to find out for sure but I know it's next week sometime.

Wonder if it is something to do with FSU's nefarious shite?

I'll never get this. It should take very little time to get these players set up for the semester.

I think Louis was cleared late this afternoon from what I understand ... or at least we got the call. Just waiting on the paperwork which should be ready by Tuesday noon thanks to MLK holiday.

Edit: Lewis to Louis

Great news guys. Thanks for the updates.

One thing I wanted to add.. Dennis Briggs is a long shot and I would not even consider him an option at this point. I’ve heard he’s down to FSU/Miami and Miami has a huge lead.

Jamarcus Chatman is in the same boat. Miami has a huge lead on him and honestly I’d be very surprised if he didn’t end up at Miami after hearing about his situation today.

On another note, does anyone has info on D.J. Brown?

I know Brown is visiting us last. Feel like we had a good shot.

Do y'all remember this little gem?

He has plenty of $$$ at Clemson, huh?

ETA: The exact quote:

quote:

"I’m happy to say that the one thing that’s not going to go in my decision is money. Being at Clemson I have more money, more resources than I’ve ever had in my whole life."

It’s going to take one of their prized recruits getting pissed at someone up there before anything ever comes out. Then again they may have had that surface and the kids received more hush money or shut yer mouth er else threats. I’ve accepted the fact that while it was obvious they were cheating earlier in the decade, nothing will ever happen from it.

Tentative official visitors list this coming weekend:

Dennis Briggs DT- Miami lean, flipper needs to work magic

DJ Brown CB-UVA commit maybe character's replacement

Tyquan Johnson WR-signed

Josh Vann WR- signed

Dylan Wonnum OT- obvious need here, hope wolf can lock this one down

Final 4 spots are likely Sandidge Thompson Wonnum and one of Briggs, Mincey, and Brown..jamison is likely to move on, never understood why they took his commitment with the plethora of WRs on roster.

Auburn O-Line coach just left for Texas.

That should be enough to make us a clear leader there. Would be shocked if to don’t land him based on everything that has happened to this point.

Also guys, don’t count on Briggs whatsoever. He is a Miami/FSU battle all the way with Miami holding a decent sized lead. He’s OVing to Columbia for the sake of visiting and having fun. I’d say less than 1% chance we get him.

The same goes for Jamarcus Chatman.

You beat me to it ... I was just thinking the same thing.

I hope we're right.
