Ive heard its still us in front, if he commits when he says he is ours, and will stay if we win 7 if not yall have a shot to steal. Him and TJ Brunson are friends and want to play together, plus 7 or 8 gets us Dax Hollifield as well.

last i heard he was all Vol, however it could have changed. However, Dax announced UNC is his new favorite.

He was all Vol, however, his friend Jatavious Harris WR who recruited him to play for UT has since decommitted so Horn should be in play.
As for Dax, he has since come out on Twitter denying having named a leader.

I'd be surprised if we didn't get Channing Tindall and Rick Sandidge. I could see us flipping Horn and Gerald. There is also a DE outta SFla that is presently committed to Louisville that the staff is working. Dax doesn't know wtf he's gonna do.

247 put out an article this morning about 4 4*s that our staff feels confident in their position with those recruits. They are, in order of confidence:
DT Rick Sandidge
OT Dylan Wonnum (kinda surprised here because I thought he was leaning more Auburn)
DB Jaycee Horn (currently committed to UTk)
LB Channing Tindall (kinda surprising just based on the fact that they are more confident in flipping Horn than landing Tindall)

Yeah that is pretty damn worrying actually. Tindall is a great talent. I think he and Sandidge are easily the most important to focus on. Horn is also really damn important as our secondary desperately needs depth.

They did say that they feel good about Tindall but that UGA has become more of a threat than previously thought.

I would really like to land all four of those guys and maybe Dorian Gerald. Sounds like he is just waiting on Butch to get the axe, and then he will seriously contemplate flipping.

we currently sit at 18 and can only take 23 due to Williams and the grey shirt last year on scholly now and the new rule of only 25 new scholly players per year. so we can only take 5 more unless we tell current committs to look elsewhere.

Update on Tindall, UGA is making a HUGE push right now. Also helps them that the stepdad is a BIG UGA fan and is pushing him that way. However, USC still leads and momma wants him to stay in Columbia. Really hope momma wins out here.

From a perception standpoint, it would be awful to lose a kid like that from right in our back yard.

We actually got a few CBs on 247 today for Tindall from insiders I believe from FSU and ND.

I read in the paper today that both TRob and Will went to visit J Horn at his hs last week. It also said that he isn’t doing any official visits until after the season and that he confirmed that he’s still a UTk commit.
I don’t think our coaches would be wasting their time if there wasn’t a chance for a flip here. Horn is probably going to wait and see what happens to UTk’s HC before he decommits and goes with somebody else.
