IBG,

I remember when I was "young" (a relative term in this case) and full of fire, just like you. If I'm being honest, I see a lot of a former self in your opinions and posts. Any admonitions for you that I might post on here are simply trying to get you to open your eyes to a wider world. I know the big city is great, but there is value in slowing down and seeking simpler pleasures as well.

Cheers to you my good man.

No you cant because I served in the NAVY. I understand what Lonnie is saying. Pencil pushers, which are still needed, wouldn't.

I’m saying you can’t talk about what happens on an equities trading desk at a big investment bank.
Especially a bulge bracket one

Every time I slow down someone ahead of me is getting better
Already behind the 8ball with my background compared to the colleagues.
Need to always be one step ahead

These are learned skills. And if one person can learn it, anyone can. It just takes 1) desire, and 2) dedication.

I get it.

But there's a time and place for everything. Now is not your time for these things.

Give it time to marinate. One day you will appreciate what I'm say. You may never agree, and that's cool. But one thing time gives everyone is perspective.

Ehhhhh learned but also experience
They’ll start out low, analyst level.
I’m talking about a managing director.
You’re not gonna hire someone with no experience in that position to a level that high

Oh definitely is.
When I’m in my 60s retired in the Hamptons.
Fingers crossed

No, but an officer in a special ops team has exactly this leadership, problem solving and communication skills to work themselves into that position.

Disagree
Rather be in the 60s
I’d like to still be working in my 50s, showing how every now and then but still yelling at people
Also most likely sending all my kids to expensive schools
I anticipate UPenn Northwestern and MIT will be 120k a year by then

Would love to know how many candidates for these schools are offspring of USC alumni. Yours may be the first.

That’s why you have babies with someone that isn’t a USC alumni

He is 100% correct Tanner is done at AD. For Christ sakes it already came out last week that Eddie Floyd and other BOT were bringing in his possible replacements.
Tanner will leave when he is ready unless things besides the football program go south and he stands by and does nothing. That will not happen...so...he won't be gone. Do you know how many coaches get replaced with the AD's staying in place ? The other programs are doing well and the facilities are being upgraded so to say his job is in jeopardy because of Muschamp is idiotic at best....and I am not a Tanner fan by a long shot.

New guy. Everyone’s head on the chopping block.
Need to prove themselves

Yes, I'm joking. I figure that'll be one of the rumors floating around in the next couple of days. That or he's replacing BMac as OC. You know our fanbase will have some stories floating around once they find out he was there.

I’d be fine with him coaching football again
The AD part triggered me

112-32 decimation handed out by USC. most points scored under Dawn. 80 point win 2nd largest margin of victory for women's hoops history.

Steve & Miss Jerri were also in town when Gamecock football beat Kentucky 24-7 earlier in the fall. any chance we can get them to be inside W-B @noon in a couple Saturdays? I'd be fine if HBC signaled in plays from his suite.
