since Al Lown left.
I miss coach Lown. Great all around guy.
CSB - His son, Ben, beat me in a playoff during our junior golf days. We both shot 69, but the thing that made it bad (for me) is he was 14 and I was 17. Coach gave me some crap about it when I would run into him at other tournaments after that. Great memories.

A 9 pt buck, huh? Congrats! I used to go sit out in the stand for hours with my daddy when I was growing up. Loved to hunt. Don't ever get to go any more, but I still make the time to fish. Some of my best memories are from when I was little and my grandfather (papa) would take me fishing at the lake in Barnwell and we'd sit on milk crates and fish from the bank with cane poles and he always made sure we had plenty of cold "Co-Colas" as he called them and plenty of boiled peanuts. I'd give just about anything to have just one more chance to do that with my papa.
I am definitely not one of those girly girl types.

yea he came out on the wheat plot i was sitting on and blasted him, i can relate with you on your Papa, i called my moms father the same. He lived on the lake and got me fishing, i rememberi was fishing with him and hooked a big cat, he was right there and wouldnt help but be put his finger in my belt loop (i was 6 and weighed like 55lb) i fought that fish for 45 minutes and finally got it and it weighed in at 75 lbs...he died one year later from cancer. I wish i could go out on the lake with him one more time.

Well I went to a buddy's wedding last night, it was a blast. Was at a lovely little winery out near Manassas. Hurting for it now though, maybe one too many whiskey gingers. Gonna try to drag myself to the golf course around noon to play 9.
Then cleaning the house this afternoon, there's a frickload of cat hair in here.
