Skyline?

... actually began as a disco in the mid seventies. Was the place to go if you were into disco and/or you were looking to score easy poon around midnight. I remember when it opened and remember when it finally closed.

My favorite bar back in the day was Copper Door/Dundee’s over on Rosewood and it was really the happening place around campus for quite a while. Always booked the best bands like the B52s, Eastern Seaboard and Mother’s Finest among others. Cro Coursin was a regular during the off-season and Lumpy Penny bounced there. Bu the place was just a good bar.

There was another place down Rosewood, back behind the fireworks stand. I can’t remember. I need to call my brother and see if he can remember some of those old hangouts.

I don't remember skyline being into disco, are you sure your not confusing it with woody's bar " the diamond disco" which was right by the skyline? It was the place to go for disco dancing in the late 70's and early 80's. I watched Ricky Hagood pubch a guy so hard that he flew across the car hood one night there.

I remember Rockafella's use to book this band that had a crazy name and I told everyone they would not make it because of their name. It was " red hot chili peppers".
My hangout was " Don's" across from elbow room.Well group therapy also.

There was a bar on rosewood called Twilights that had .25 beer on tues and wed night. It was a bigtime college hangout in the 70's and early 80's.

That’s ridiculously cheap

Yep all of these places are bringing back memories. Twilight, Don's down in Five Points, all of them. Good stuff.

SOSFAN you must be in your late fifties early sixties, I'm guessing at least a few years younger than me.

Ok gotcha. I've got a good bit on you but it shrinks with age.

You're still naming places I remember. I was long gone by the 80s but I remember a lot of those people and places.

It means that both clearly love their mothers deeply and I'm not comfortable with them representing my alma mater. I want only STRAIGHT representatives or people will think all of us are like that.

NO! Women cannot coach men in a sport. Our society has gone too far, way way too far. Some people like to blame the 19th amendment but I say we never shoulda taught them to read, that's where it all went wrong.

Naw Baw
By that time since the Warriors will have won their 5th title in a row the WNBA and NBA will merge because the league will be so pissed that a true Patriot like Steve Kerr has basically beat the system

They will call it the WYIABA (Whatever you identify as basketball association)
As we all know, Our girl and greatest Gamecock of all time A’Ja Wilson is best buds with one of the largest athletes in the world.
Probably the biggest because he didn’t rape anyone (Ronaldo did) and he Speaks English (Messi doesn’t)
Lebron will make the WYIABA Lakers merge with A’Ja’s team due to their friendship and faces of probably the best sports retailer in the world (Nike)

Dawn being then premier coach in college and having already won in college will move to the pros to coach a big 3 of A’Ja Lebron and Lebron Jr

I'm glad things are finally moving along in this country. We've done the first step, ban abortion. Next step? Ban the WNBA.
