Figured a thread for this could be started as its going to be a very eventful offseason and alot of changes. Heres what some facts, then some things I'm hearing.

Dillman, and Werner are both fired. BMac apparently demoted. Assuming that means back to WR coach.

Bentley is announcing his grad transfer today. Keep your eyes open. GT is the likely target as of now.

Joyner is also transferring.

People keep mentioning Chad Morris. Dont get your hopes up, I'm hearing TCU is the likely landing spot for him.

Let the games begin

I think firing Werner is basically using him as a scapegoat for it all. He took a QB that clearly wasn’t 100% and wasn’t ready and made him at least competent. For all the grief Ryan gets he still went 5 games without a pick, which is impressive no matter what; even more so with the mash unit on offense.... helped Bentley to grow, and before 14INT is mentioned, he still seemed more comfortable and more sound mechanically than before.

Werner is gone bc the new OC will also coach QBs. I don't think he's the scapegoat at all. It's just the nature of the position. BMac being retained is still puzzling. Hopefully he'll move on.

BMac was a good WR coach. He needs to stick to that or move on. Dillman being fired is a huge plus. Decimating injuries two years in a row is telling.

Ive heard several things about Werner. One that he was old cranky and there was a personality issue. Another is what lungbuster said about the next OC. Either way hes gone and we can bring someone in that really can help Hilinski grow hopefully.

I would think Hilinski and Lloyd being young etc would be a potentiall attractive job for a OC. I'm biased but either way... Muschamp HAS to shell out for a big name proven OC. Its just a fact. Offensive has always been the issue plaguing him for years. If the proven OC doesnt work then maybe you shouldnt be a HC.

For better or worse, Jake is gone.

Not unexpected for those that are paying attention.

The message meant for us as fans in his message to his teammates was received loud and clear.

Kind of ashamed at some of the shite I said about him on here.

It's like all of our mama's told us. If you can't say anything nice....

That's why my response will always be the same. Good luck young man, thanks for everything you did for us.

Heres another fun fact. Muschamp was given a blank check with $0 restrictions to hire any OC he wanted. He promoted Bmac and brought in Werner to hold his little hand so he could train on our dime.

Werner was a good hire. It didn’t work out in the end, but folks here were happy, he helped get Ryan, and his resume speaks for itself

Looks like Mike Bobo is going to be hired as OC tomorrow. Unless someone else backs the brinks truck in for him. UGA is reportedly interested as well.

That would be the worst hire we could make

I really hope not.

ETA: I was going to make a post that things have been quiet concerning the coaching search. Seems like they don’t what to letting much out and have the fans be vocal about it, similar to the Rich Rod fiasco.

I said this in the other thread but we can’t have an OC that works like everyone else, or has the same system as everyone else. I wish Muschamp would go ballsy and hire someone innovative like bob Stitt. If you don’t know who he is, go check out the other thread, I described him and linked a video for his philosophy

And our fans will do it in a heartbeat. This fanbase has become quite vicious here lately.

Yeah that actually boggles my mind. I'm glad we haven't, though. Obviously.
