It's still on. Just look for threads started by aTm or LSU and troll like we do taters on here. The more annoying, the better. But a few of the threads have already been whacked bc of butt hurt LSU mods, I guess. (Please don't ban me, Chicken)

It's not a millenial thing. While my Daughters are technically Gen X I suppose having been born in the early to mid 80s, my Son is a 1997 millenial and he's not disrespectful or rude.
I suspect it's more about how your mother and father raised you.
Cheese ... if you are reading this I waited a few days to mellow before I responded to this guy and I apologise for his verbal assault on you. You've been a valued and respected contributor around here and you didn't deserve what he typed above. I wish he had not done it ... but you know the deal in today's modern society and Internet board world. He's not yet learned what fights to pick and what battles to engage-in and he was, IMHO, out of line with his choice of words. You have to remember, he's anti-South and he prefers cream of wheat over grits and oatmeal. If you want to get some statisfaction outta of this kid shoot me an email and I'll help you with whatever you need. He was way out of line and I hope you keep posting here as a welcomed guest. Most Gamecock fans and certainly most South Carolinians are better people than this kid comes across as ... him being a millennial is no excuse. Lots of the guys around here are millennials and they would never attack an invited guest like this kid has chosen to do on this private board.

I'm more the SCRooster generation. Someone is going to the hospital, perhaps the morgue after that.
Besides, Cheese is Cheese. If you want to have an in depth conversation at 3 AM about women's bowling he's on that.

ETA; this actually kinda reminds me of that seinfeld episode where george is with the guys from houston.
and the Houston guys use the term Son of a Bitch... While at first it throws George off, he then adopts it and his other colleagues are quite confused by it.
That said; apologies for the lost in translation, but for myself, I'd take more offense to being called creepy.

We are old and well insured. And fairly ill tempered.

I'm not backing away from my opinion of him. I'm sure he's perfectly find IRL but for Rant purposes I don't trust someone that's just a neutral fan or likes all sports, it's very odd. I've never crossed words with him here and he's an agreeable dude but it don't sit right with me.

Yeah ... and worse, every now and then when dealing with sheep humping sister banging trolling taterheads and one or two other assholes. Never with friends or invited guests.
I doubt I've ever used it in this forum because this is our home. In here we can get away from the bullshite on the SECr and just talk about stuff without the trolling amd without the insults.
Out there is another story although, even out there I very very rarely go against family or friends. If you get one upvote out there, chances are it's from me because I spend more time upvoting family and friends out there while reading and surfing than I do actually replying.
Hell, even in here I am an upvoting machine because I know how the scoring system works in this BBS software and if it ever comes down to the mods using the thumbs-up thumbs-down score to determine if a penalty is handed-out I'm always trying to make sure Gamecock fans have an advantage.
In here ... this is our home. This is where we are mellow, cool and respectful at all times, at least that's how I approach this.
The SECr, The Poli board and OT boards ... those are wild west shows. TigerRant, hell, that's a den of inequity ... I venture in there only when I want to be abused, which is pretty much never.
I sure hope Cheese returns. He is a really good guy.
