Spurrier had like 7 top 25 wins his first 5 years

Against a #23 ranked UT team that finished 5-7 and un-ranked.

A #12 ranked UF team that did finish 9-3 in 2005

Against a #23 ranked Clemson team that finished 8-5 and un-ranked in 2006.

Against a #11 team which I think finished #2 in the nation in 2007.

Against a #8 UK team in a wild 2007 where we finished 6-6 and UK finished un-ranked at 8-5.

Against a #6 Ole Miss team that finished #20.

And against a #15 Clemson team that finished #24 in 2009.

For me personally, the verdict is still out on Muschamp. I still don't know how I feel about letting him go over all but I'm willing to give him more time. But outside of that UGA in 2007 (where we didn't even go to a bowl) and maybe that 2005 UF win... let's not act like Spurrier was just scoring these big victories over and over again in his first 5 years with 3 of those wins were against teams that finished un-ranked with 2 finishing at #20 or worse.

Hell, it's a wonder he almost quit after the 2008 season.

Not to mention, the levels that UGA and especially Clemson are at now compared to then gave Spurrier more opportunities to knock off average "ranked" teams than Muschamp has ever gotten. Hell, what our offense did to Clemson last year probably would've beaten any other Clemson team during Spurrier's tenure.

I’m giving him more time too but don’t expect much
But hey maybe he surprises me

I do think the fan base wouldn’t be as vocal that he sucks if we were beating Clemson and they weren’t winning national titles
