Michael had a disheveled eye by the time it passed over us but it was still a break in the action.
Hugo was a whole nuther story. It passed dead over our house on the IOP but we were not there ... but when it passed over us out near Walterboro it was eerie. The wind stop, the stars came out, the birds start chirping.... then the backside hit us and it was on again. I thought I was gonna die that night.

Garnet. That was one weird outcome. I can’t figure it out myself. The way GA played, they didn’t look like a top 10 much less #2 team. I think if the game is played over, LSU would lose.

I bet that was Erie knowing your fixing to get hit again. I think the back side is worse than the front. I’ve never seen the eye. Hope I don’t.

There's a wicked cool satellite image of the eye making landfall and you can see the coast inside the eye as it does.
