If Hilinski can’t go for whatever reason or the coaching staff is trying to keep Florida on their toes, what type of offense do you think we run with Joyner as opposed to Hilinski/Bentley who are your pro style pocket guys?

Watch old tapes of Vick at VA Tech, and copy everything.

Seriously, lots of deep routes to spread the field, and let that guy fly.

I agree, hopefully they've been practicing a lot of Wildcat as well.

Quick question regarding DJ. I read this article that was posted today on 24/7;

LINK /

It said, "The NCAA Transfer Portal called for South Carolina football redshirt freshman Dakereon Joyner in August, but he sent it to voicemail."

Is that how the transfer portal works/or is supposed to work? Are they supposed to try and solicit players that they feel are susceptible to transferring? Seems pretty shady and underhanded to me, but it is the NCAA.

If Dak is indeed the starter I am concerned. Uf will likely totally shut down the run and dare Dak to pass.

That is a recipe for an ugly ugly offensive showing. I don't think people understand how severely limited we are if dak starts saturday..

We cannot expect a repeat defensive performance like we saw saturday. The offensive line has to be perfect for any shot to win.

I think you’re underestimating Joyner a bit and overestimating Florida’s run defense a lot

i hope so. i watch the games and dont see a consistent passer. i underestimate him because i havent seen anything that makes me feel like he can light it up with his arm if need be.

and any team, especially florida can stack the box and dare a guy to throw.

I think he is dead on. If dak starts I expect Florida's defense to play 8 in the box and dare him to pass now the good thing is Florida best pass rushers may be out.

I agree. I love Dak as an athlete, but he didn't show me anything in the passing game last week that made me confident. Several of his throws were really off.

So their 2 "star" DE's are out? Did I hear that correctly? I had heard they were questionable but now they're saying definitely out.

That’s what I’m hearing. The two pass rushers are out.

I honestly think they’re gonna have a package for DK that he will be able to run, not just wildcat, but an actual offense centered around him. The thing nobody considered was that he was still limited last week.

Yea if we have to rely on Dak"s arm we are screwed....I'd like to see him in a pistol or a wishbone offense.

I thought Bentley was going to be okay to return eventually this season? Or am I just misremembering? I guess he's out for the year?
