actually it's fine. No one has any idea USC and Clemson are Rivals.

Where do you live? Norway? Denmark? Amsterdam?
Let me know. Everywhere I have ever lived (I kid you not) had at least a few ppl that I interacted with at least on a semi-regular basis that were very much aware of the rivalry.
I've lived as far north as Connecticut and as far west as Hawaii.
ETA: Ha..just realized I handled what the OP asked about in this thread exactly the same way that I am dealing with it irl.

My daughter tried calling last night after the game and I didn't answer. She called again this morning and asked why I didn't answer last night so she could pick at me about it. I told her I fell asleep before the end of the game and what was the final score? (If you didnt figure it out...I was lying thru my damn teeth) Feigning disinterest in it totally threw her off and she dropped the subject.

On campus, so things aren't too bad. I guess this is the "safe space" for now.

I had to go to the feed and seed store this morning and it was no fun ... none at all. Most of the regulars are not back from Tampa but the ones that didn't go, it was like a gathering of the sheephumpers all in one place.
Then I had to ride out to Titan and Watsonia and, while all the key players are still in Tampa, the ones that didn't go started hootin' and hollerin' at me as soon as I walked in both places wearing one of my typical Gamecock hats that they are used to seeing.
I just laughed them all off.
Phone has been ringing since 1AM last night with calls from Clemson fans who are friends ... I've answered all of them and congratulated all of them.
It'll be okay. This too shall pass.
We just need to get ours one day in the near future.

Usually a lurker, but this sucks so fricking much I had to post.
Currently dating a Clemson fan, and unfortunately I am regularly surrounded by all her Clemson fricking friends.

I'm glad I moved from SC when I did, otherwise I'd be having a tough time right now.
But I wore my Bama gear proudly last year, and I'm still wearing it today.
Honestly every resonable Clemson fan should just enjoy the moment and not talk shite. It was an incredible game that literally went down to the final second.
Yeah they won fair and square, but they had to work to earn this win more so than any other game this year and probably in in their immediate future.
Hopefully y'all can bounce back and knock them down a peg

Surely if you lived in SC for any period of time you realize that is totally impossible for them. T-shirt Duke basketball fans are not half as obnoxious as the average clemson fan.
