Your stats thread really brought out the worst of Vol Nation.
and it was only box score notes...with the note that the numbers were closer than the game felt...and they took it as shite talk...dumb bunch those vols

Its like LSU with Womens basketball.
You can give them their flowers while pointing one little thing out and they just go into shite talk mode. It is so strange. Our fanbases biggest issue is that we are so self deprecating that we can't ever be happy even when things go well. But that leads to us having our shite straight when we do shite talk or when we defend ourselves. For them, they just sling mud and hope it sticks

I make sure to tell them why they can't succeed followed up by giving them a compliment when I post on their board. It confuses the hell out of them

maybe thats it. I start with the compliment, then make a point, then add a note that it isnt a shot at them...they still get mad

You know, after sleeping on it last night, I got DV to oblivion (deservingly so) for accidently mis-gendering one of LSU's players the other night. I'd only read the thread and thought they were talking about the men's game and not the women's.
Now LSU fans are INTENTIONALLY mis-gendering Kamilla Cardoso with impunity on the main board. What a bunch of hypocrites....

I received multiple messages from Clemson friends who were openly rooting for us to beat LSU. These Louisiana folks are pure trash.

They'll get it. But I'm going to let things calm down a little bit before I light the fuse. If I did it now, it would simply get lost in the noise between the two fanbases right now. I want it to make more of an impact.

They are the trashiest fanbase without a doubt. Thats why they rally around Kim so much.

Names are being taken. Posting here so I can delete them off my work computer and find them later. I'm debating removing the usernames when I finally post on the main board. Thoughts? Am I violating the site TOC's ? If so, I'll remove them.
