Looks like Pat Washington is being fired, Bentley is moving to TE coach, and Thomas Brown from Miami is going to be the new RB coach.
If this ends up true, I'm all in. Brown coached Melvin Gordan at Wisconsin, as well as Nick Chubb and Sony Michel at Georgia. Hes an elite recruiter too with alot of ties. Washington is probably no where near as good at recruiting.

Thats why I mentioned its not confirmed. But Thomas Brown DID just follow all our 2020 recruits on twitter and type in Thomas brown on google and read the description. It says "He is currently the running backs coach at the University of South Carolina"

The wikipedia page even changed again from this morning. Hes already got the full position chart out.

I asked about the Spurs Up Show the other night when I saw them referencing Lance to GT.
I will say this, I still think Lance is gone. Same person who told me about Lance told me about this move, although he didn't initially tell me it was Pat Washington.
This is a definite upgrade. Brown has coached Chubb, Michel, and he coached Melvin Gordon when he was at Wisky. Hopefully he can land us a stud RB - kid from Charlotte next year?

Im looking more at Mark-Antony Richards for 2019. Hes a 96 overall high fourstar back that Brown has been recruiting heavily at Miami.

Looks like Bo Davis and Thomas Brown will both be activated as coaches tomorrow. Lance Thompson will be gone, and Washington too.

Agreed. Hopefully everything goes smoothly. We need any sort of good news and two massive upgrades would be nice. I’d bo Davis could talk to sorrels a bit that would be huge too.

Correct me if I’m wrong MB but I thought I read that Davis recruiting restrictions were strictly off campus recruiting

All I've seen and heard us he has a NCAA clause he can't recruit till April. Nothing on it it's strictly off campus though. I lean to none at all just to be safe.

Guess we will see what happens. Apparently theres some trouble getting Bo Davis now. Idk what changed but shite happens. Still looks like Brown is a lock tho.

We can handle him not recruiting until April. Shouldn't even be a concern compared to what he will bring to the table.
