The one thing I like about this forum is we can keep it realistic and don't have to sunshine pump. Over on CT just the opposite. I posted this about the new dl coach on ct so im going to post it here also.
"It is amazing how some posters are. If we were buying a race horse and missed out on our top choice and ended up with a 3 legged horse some of you would post the virtues of a horse with 3 legs. Is Scott the name we wanted... no. He may end up good but right now the only facts we have are what he did at Arkansas. You can twist it anyway you want to try and drum up excitment but we just hired a coach from a 2-10 team whose defense was worse than ours."

Scott might work out really well for y'all... but its kind of telling that his departure has been greeted among Hog fans with a cheerful "That frees up a coaching position for someone better!"
Our D-line play was supposed to be one of our strengths last year, its one of the few positions we actually had something vaguely resembling SEC talent, and at best they were mediocre.
Still, you never can tell. Someone who is a poor fit at one program might do great at another. We have all seen someone go to a new school to coach and turn into a superstar.

Being over here has changed me for sure. Here is a post I made on CT, in the thread coaching changes. Honestly Mike I think you would be a positive addition to CT.

I used to be a regular over there then i found this place. I played ball for RNE with Gary Gray, i said he was gonna decommit and go to ND 2 months prior to it happening. Then grown arse men called me a liar...it was all i needed to see about them.
Edit: However i still have my old account there...even after the shite show that was you coming over haha.

Probably went right over his head.
I'm worried about CT. I posted that Muschamp put all his eggs in one basket and before having the replacement he let a good coach go and then had to scramble. Scary thing is the next poster said I was probably right.
