Clowney in the Pro Bowl.

And Clemson fans calling him a bust, saying Beasley is better.
Lol where is that Bust at?

Wasn't just Clemson fans.

Almost weekly over on the MSB there would be posts about him being a bust. No matter what he did, they'd call him overrated and overpaid.

Not sure why people are always so eager to officially dub someone a bust, but it's really annoying, especially in Clowney's sake.

Well I don't go to the MsB, but I was just comparing him to the bust in Atlanta.
You know the guy Clemson fans said was better than JD?

You are aware Beasley is in the Pro Bowl as well? He's also leading the league in sacks and forced fumbles.

I'm not trying to take away from Clowney, he's my favorite player in the league. I was just pointing out that you can't really call out Beasley this year.

To be fair, and I'm saying this as someone who doesn't watch a lot of texans games so this could absolutely apply to Clowney as well, but rushing the passer is Beasley's only job. He is not in on most obvious running downs. if its a passing down he goes in, pins the ol' ears back and gets after it. He's damn good at it. But comparing one against the other if Clowney is truly an every down guy, as much as a DL can be, isn't really fair.

I hate Clemson, and was vehemently against drafting Beasley two years ago. And last year, he was garbage.

But he's been excellent this season. Working with Dwight Freeney may have saved his career.

That said, good on Clowney for making the Pro Bowl.
