I don't think the logo is bad, but they should have added the Block C or the interlocking SC somehow, I agree with that.

Hopefully some incited SC art major student will add the logo to all the logos around the park.

I was referring to the Baseball SC logo.

You're right, the interlock USC is dumb.

I like the interlocking SC much better.

What I don't like are the flat-billed hats. Mine don't stay that way for long. I'm usually bending the bill the moment I get in the truck and pull a new hat outta the bag.

It was about both, among other things. But after SoCal won we cut a deal whereas we no longer licensed the interlocking USC but we were allowed to continue use of the interlocking SC for baseball related apparel.

Years ago Paul Dietzel warned that we needed to copyright and trademark everything ... but no one listened. Everyone else of note did it but it was new territory i for universities in those old days and our powers that be thought it a waste of time, money and effort.

It's another example of poor leadership that hamstrung us back then among our BoTs and our Presidents. We were not forward thinking enough. Not competitive enough within our decision making apparatus. We're finally catching-up ... but we're still catching-up.
