Adel Tac and the transfer from Arkansas need to step up big time.

One positive is now Joyce will get more minutes and she is the most talented player on the team.

Bama only -9.5 favorites tonight? I know it's a home game for us but isn't everyone essentially feeling this will be a 20+ win easily for Bama?

If we keep it under double digits that would be a moral victory

No Stute either.. not that I think he would provide all that much versus Bama. He can get hot from 3, but he can also shoot way too many. Doesn't matter one way or another versus Bama though.

Really not seeing many conference wins on this schedule. Maybe two?

Had #2 Auburn on the ropes. Our guard play is killing us.

Women's team blew out #5 Texas 67-50. Texas WAS one of the top offense in the nation and had just beaten top 25 ranked Alabama by 40

That was just a strange game honestly. Texas had 79 shots to our 51 and it was never close. I think we got a bit lucky that they missed some open shots, and then behind that we played some killer defense. Rebounding was far better for us in the 2nd half but we will need to improve the rebounding. We also had 22 turnovers, so we will need to clean that up.

Not bad though to play poorly in two facets and still run away with it.

Another close but no cigar game. Lose to Vandy by 3.

Lack of a point guard is killing us. Nearly 30 turnovers tonight

Dark times indeed. That was one of our few chances at a win just outright looking at the schedule. Have to imagine we can steal one (LSU) but hopefully upset another couple.

0-18 is not out of the realm of possibility though.

This is the first time in a long time that I've looked forward to our men's season. I think we will surprise people, just like last year.

Couple that with the fact that scores have not been updated since the Mississippi State loss.

Technically it's 100% correct. I was excited about the season and totally surprised with how poor we played.

This team may finish 0-18 in the SEC.

relax, like 3 of your last 4 posts have mentioned 0-18. There is a lot of basketball to play. Truth is we have not looked good most the year. We did beat a good clemson squad, and pushed a good auburn team. Could we go winless...sure, but this years SEC is also nasty. Did mizzou go 0-18 and then turn around this year and beat 2 top 5 teams? yep.

Paris deserves to get a chance to figure it out and have our support. We are bringing in Eli Ellis next year who should be electric. Cam Scott will be a year older, along with Pringle and CMB. We have a foundation to build on. This isnt year 10 of the same old same old frank team.

I've been watching Eli since he was in 6th grade. Both he and his brother, Isaac, are warriors that can shoot lights out BUT they have been playing for years in leagues that are all about offense and NBA all-star defense. Going to be a huge jump playing college ball for him.

Yeah, there is no point to try and determine what a team in college sports will look like in an upcoming season anymore. Especially football, but definitely basketball as well.

Women's bball now is how things used to be in regard to the roster. Miss those days.

We are a bad team. Our talent level is so far behind it's pitiful. I also just don't see CMB as a 1st round pick. He doesn't have a outside shot and he isn't big enough to play inside in the NBA.

We have more talent coming in but we will still be behind talent wise.
