we have a better ball club this year - both teams fully healthy - than they do. quality depth of pitching is the difference in favor of USC. we know it - they're in denial or slap out arrogantly ignorant to it.

Oddly I think some of it is WBB carry over as well. Which is odd because we all gave them credit for the title.
Either way I will talk logical baseball with anyone on this site, thats fun.
I also will troll any delusional LSU fans and at worst make them start hurling insults.

couple of other things - Caleb Denny 4/5 today 1 rbi and a run scored
Petry a rare tough day at the plate - has still hit in 17 of 20 league games now - 36 of 43 overall - had a 5 game hit streak going into today
Kingston's ejection today was his 2nd this season - appears he may have to be suspended for the Tuesday game in Rock Hill - per NCAA rules

well boys, it was a good run....until everyone got fricking hurt!!!!!!
when on defense, the ball always finds the weak spots..
we should have everyone back by sec tournament....exoept hall..
it stinks but you cant blame the backups..they are gamecocks and are trying hard..

Everyone is struggling this time of year. I think we will be fine. Getting Mcgillis and Wimmer back will help. Messina can move back behind the plate. Tippet won't have to play.

I will hammer the over. I still have hope. I think they beat UGA in hoover, game 2 is a crap shoot.

had this photo text to me this morning - called safe on the field during the play -
replay review overturned the call as the tv crew opined the catcher's foot had to have blocked LeCroy's foot from touching the black/corner of home plate

Gamecocks advance. Its either TTU at home, or UF on the road. Personally id rather have the team without the scouting reports on us, but if the team hits like they did this weekend and pitches like they did we can beat anyone.

I didnt realize that Petry/Messina had none, but Petry/Messina at least were getting on base.

From one of the best programs in the country, to one of the worst in our own division. Carolina is only better than UGA and Mizzou right now. Utk, UF, Vandy, and Kentucky are all passed us.

I mean, a super regional is still a sweet 16. This was a good year, and I think you hold Kingston to this standard for a while. If he fails to host a regional, or make a super then year...gone. That said, if he can build off this year then all is well
