Show me where I jumped you about Hilinski. Ive been a supporter of Ryan from day one. Sorry that you have harboured some type of resentment that is so minimal that I can't even remember it.
I do agree with IBG as it was charleston southeren. Hilinski went against better talent in high school. Lets give it 3 to 4 more weeks then we will have a better picture.
Lets be honest your solid sources have also failed you in the past, as has all of ours, so no one on a free forum is a " recruiting expert".

And some talked about experience

Every hot new QB is the next best greatest thing. There is an old saying and it definitely applies here, "the most popular player on the team (with the fans) is the backup QB."
It was Charleston Southern and, while I agree Hilinski looked great, he has yet to face a real test. He will this Saturday.
The rule in college football when it comes to QBs is to go with the senior with all of the experience, (of which Hilinski had none until this past Saturday.)
I do not remember ever eviscerating anyone over Hilinski Mike. And we all agreed that Hilinski was a highly rated, heralded, talented recruit and a big time get. But had he been thrown in the fire against UNC the way Manos played .... we all might be singing a different tune right now. Hindsight is 20-20 as they say.
I truly hope that Hilinski is our next greatest thing ever.

Your 4 downvotes are from people who'd said we'd kill UNC and go 8-4, but after we beat a slightly better version of Fort Dorchester High School, all of a sudden we can keep it respectable with Bama. I truly believe Bama could cover this spread in a quarter if they wanted.

I guess it is if they aren’t really good coming in
But there are a bunch of schools now rolling out freshmen/first time starters (RS Frosh) etc
Georgia did it with Eason (who was then beat out by Fromm the next year)
Ohio State had it happen this year
Auburn just did it
UNC just did it

I aplogogize, to you all, I was drunk and tossing shite at a wall like a monkey. Took my buddy out for a mini bachelor's party and when we got back I started shite posting, with my shitty thumbs. I probably remembered y'all saying Ryan won't start and immediately in my mindset, went to lack of talent, not loyalty if boom.
