Damn ... that kid is only a HS JR? He frickin'' almost broke my hand when he shook it. And she is a sweet, beautiful, young lady. They're a cute young couple of kids. I hope he ends up here .... all this time I've been waiting to see his name mentioned in this class.

I figure our recruiting, except for maybe one, possibly two, players will be done by this Thursday. We may not know for sure until Monday and week but the visits this coming weekend are pretty much a formality, correct?
Sure would like to see us close strong before signing day - only eight, or nine, days away including the final dead period.

What are our chances with Randrecous Davis? I saw where he is down to us and Miami. 100% CB's to Miami at the moment.

Evidently Smart dumped him from the UGA list right? So it's between Miami and us and he's already been to Miami and he's supposed to visit us this weekend ... which he will.
I like our chances personally. BMac recruited him while at UGA and if we can just get him up here we've got a good shot. It would not surprise me to see us land him this coming weekend ... he's definitely one of the two we'd take if he waited until Monday to decide.

Also we're now thinner by one commitment:
3* WR/DB commitment out of Baton Rouge LA. Kid had originally committed to Muschamp & Roper when they were still at UF - they were the first ones to offer him - then de-committed when they got fired, and then committed to us last summer.
I thought the hiring of Muschamp and Roper would be a match made in heaven, but apparently things started cooling for some reason. He's now looking more likely to end up at Tulane and stay closer to home. I don't know if our staff encouraged him to look elsewhere, or if distance from family became a factor, or what....

I keep forgetting about Wims. I talked to one of the WR's currently on the team today, and he said the guy is huge. I am assuming Wims is who he was referring to.
