Ouch. Was it a dirty run by the Cid player? I know you can truck the catcher if you want but can you also run into other baseman to get safe?

Ah gotcha. Well I've had a couple concussions so I know how he is probably feeling right now.

My first one actually was baseball related, but not the way you'd think. I was like 8 or 9 years old and over at a friends house one day and he had this video game thing where you stand in front of the tv and can swing a bat at a pitched ball. (like a really early Wii type system) Well I decided that I wanted to act as catcher and stood behind him while he swung away. The bat came crashing into my left eye and I fell to the ground. I'm an idiot I know. Luckily his mom was a nurse and knew what to do.

It's confirmed that Schrock will make the trip down to Gainesville.

Lost 3-2, we're so inconsistent it's not even funny. Belcher was fantastic just defense cost us & not being able to bring in runners from scoring position.

Yardcocks lose 4-3. Westmoreland should have been pulled after that first hit in the 8th. Questionable decision there by Holbrook.

That & I just don't think this team's that great tbh.

Hitting, especially w/ RISP against quality opponents has been a head scratcher all year long.

Pitching has been a mix of good & bad, Belcher/Montgomery/Westy/Webb/Fiori have all been great so far this season imo. However, the bullpen as we all know has been a 2 man show (Webb & Westy) aside from that most notably: Koumas, Seddon, & Sully haven't panned out for whatever reasons. Also Colby not in the rotation consistently doesn't help, not the Sr yr he wanted I'm sure & it seems Beal is reverting back to his self in the Fall (control issues).

Last but not least the defense has not been up to par, I wonder if it's just me but it seems like the veterans are making a lot more mistakes than the past teams have in recent memory. Pankake hasn't had a great year as we all know, I hoped he'd gotten past the D issues after the great 2nd half to the year he had last yr but obviously he hasn't.

I think the max for this team is the Supers, unless things change in a hurry where the hitting becomes more consistent against quality opponents & the bullpen becomes deeper & more talented they won't make it past the Supers.

Injuries have been a big issue no doubt, having Iskenderian in there didn't help the cause on Thursday. Also we had to bring in Costen but if Schrock would've been healthy Costen's not even in the game.
