They've been playing like garbage, but this is this young defense's first road game, and Vandy finally scored some TD's last night. Our offense will do whatever the frick they want though.

Umass lost to BC soundly. They played Colorado and Vandy close. Vandy's new QB is better than the guy who started the season. If our guys don't stay grounded after that GA win, this game could be closer than it should be.

Yeah Vandy got hammered by Temple and OM at home. I know our defense is still vulnerable, and they'll have to make an effort to refocus after the big UGA win, but if we can beat Franklin's Vandy teams we sure as hell better beat these guys.

As for the line, well I don't gamble.. but if I did I'd never bet for SC to win on the road in the SEC by 21+.

I always feel that playing a SEC opponent in their house will be a tough game. Doubt we'll win by 20+ points - I guess if that +/- 3 pt home-field credit is true, then that means we should win by 24 or so pts? - but we should still decisively.

Hopefully we don't have a post-UGA win letdown, which I feel with the loss to TAMU already on record we shouldn't. I guess we'll see if the media tries to hype up the team again this week...

We expended a lot of psychic energy in the UGA win. Need to find a way to stay focussed and determined.

While i agree with this, I seen some people "grow up" that game as well.

We didn't use as much psychic energy as you think, the energy we had was in reality just enhanced by the large solar storm that came across the earth's path this weekend. The Sun wanted the Gamecocks to win, since the Rooster/Gamecock is widely considered The Bringer of the Dawn, so the Sun pitched in some energy.

I think we'll cover this. Vandy is beyond shitty this year.

It will be hard to keep from having some kind of letdown after that UGA win...I don't see us in danger of losing but I'm not so sure we cover. I hope I'm wrong, if we keep the intensity up and come out firing on all cylinders I'll be very pleased.
