Link to Saturday down south article detailing the idiot passes inside the 5..

quote:

The red zone issues certainly had an impact on Alabama losing to Texas A&M. The Tide’s offense rolled up 522 total yards, including 153 of them on the ground.

Needless to say, fans weren’t enthused by O’Brien’s play-calls, especially in the red zone.

They're not wrong. For all of Kiffin's attempts to be cute, from the one, he would have had 600 pounds of DL in the backfield for BRob to run behind, with Young under center.

1st and goal from the 4. We have been killing them on the ground and Bill calls three passing plays? Stupid. That cost us 4 points. It was senseless

this is not all on Bob. NS is privy to every call on O and D and he could have reeled Bob in and called something different.

Kiffin quit running Henry when we were up 2 scores and gashing Ohio State.

NS isn't going to do that. He lets his guys run their game. That's been obvious for years.

Saban addresses Alabama's lack of runs in the red zone at Texas A&M (BOL)

quote:

“I don’t know if we challenged them running it as much as maybe we could, and that’s one of the things that I think we need to work on trying to improve on.”

Comment makes no sense. How hard is it for Saban to chime in during the game and tell BOB this? Boom, it’s automatically worked on. There’s no way as anal as Saban is that goal line scenarios weren’t pre planned and worked on. Hell they prepare for what to do if they win the coin toss. Saban should have been vetoing the play the moment he called it the second time we were on the goal line.

On the one yard line?

Did you see the word "Kiffin" and then just stop reading?

I mean, your comment isn't even relevant to the discussion. We're talking about boneheaded calls inside the 3 yard line.
