He swings it with such ease and his pitcher, while 150, is putting the ball in the exact right spot every time

That pitcher was 100% part of the success. I mean Alonso was dialed in and absolutely smashing, but that pitcher only missed like one pitch a minute. Crazy consistency

That pitcher was Dave Jauss, Mets bench coach. Dude is a legend in the game and has pitched for HR derby winners before.
