I’ve seen both play multiple HS games. Del Rio is the bigger body and better passer at this junction.

Final ranking of the best QBs from the Elite 11 Finals

ALPHA DOG: TY THOMPSON, OREGON COMMIT

2. BROCK VANDAGRIFF, GEORGIA COMMIT
We liked Brock Vandagriff on Monday and Tuesday and loved him Wednesday when he worked through the accuracy gauntlet. The five-star out of Bogart (Ga.) Prince Avenue Christian School has crisp mechanics and was quick with his release. He had to muscle the ball in there at times, but looked elite in his first outing on a national stage since injuring his fibula. The nation's No. 2 ranked dual-threat quarterback plans to sign with the in-state Bulldogs.

3. KYRON DRONES, BAYLOR COMMIT

4. CALEB WILLIAMS

5. KYLE MCCORD, OHIO STATE COMMIT

6. CARLOS DEL RIO, FLORIDA COMMIT
This was the best we have seen out of Carlos Del Rio. The Loganville (Ga.) Grayson signal caller flashed for us during his pro-day workout and had some of the most impressive throws of the night. He showed off one of the biggest arms in the event and followed it up with a strong day during Wednesday’s accuracy gauntlet. At 6-3, 205 pounds, Del Rio has a big frame, moves well and has some intriguing upside to him. The Florida commit is the nation's No. 213 overall ranked prospect.

7. J.J. MCCARTHY, MICHIGAN COMMIT

8. MILLER MOSS, USC COMMIT

9. TYLER MACON, MISSOURI COMMIT
Tyler Macon wasn’t the most heralded quarterback coming in, but flashed for us several times. The East Saint Louis (Ill.) standout had a solid pro-day workout, showing off a live, accurate arm to all three levels of the field. He’s an athletic dual-threat signal caller who put up huge numbers last season and should be in line for a nice rankings bump following his performance. The Missouri commit is currently the nation's No. 748 ranked player and the No. 25 ranked dual-threat quarterback.

10. BEHREN MORTON, TEXAS TECH COMMIT

11. DRAKE MAYE, NORTH CAROLINA COMMIT

Florida-Georgia is really becoming the Bama-LSU of the East with the type of players both sides are bringing in and the coaching on both sides.

These are 247's own opinions. not the final rankings from Elite 11 itself.

These are the Elite 11:

I think this is all one big popularity contest. For example: how can McCord be ranked below Williams and Williams be the "MVP". the 2nd day McCord won the pro day competition with 45 pts. to Williams 34pts ( I believe 9th or 10th place. On day 3 mcCord again beat Williams. I guess what it all boils down to is junior film. It is truly a joke, just like Trent Dilfer is.
