Meh. 1,977ft/person. They probably have 10 living in 300ft shacks. Just kidding about not being crowded.

I wonder if NYC is adjusted for high rise living since most of it would be.

I know it was somewhat of a “joke”
This is certainly the case with parts of NYC
Not in the expensive neighborhoods (UES, Tribeca, Brooklyn Heights etc) but in the shitty/poor neighborhoods (mostly in Queens and the Bronx) where everyone is an “essential worker” (ie: blue collar workers that can’t work from home) live sometimes 2-3 families in one 3-4 bedroom apt.

It’s very similar to why Italy was hit so hard. 3-4 families living together in a house
