2) B/CS is considered (geographically) to be Central Texas, not East. Some broaden the area to “East-Central;” but East Texas is comprised of towns like Tyler, Palestine, Lufkin, Nacogdoches—places EAST of B/CS.

Ironically the virus is caught/carried by cats too. But
it is supposedly rare in humans.

ROFL...I lived in centex for 14 years, I know where it is...and you being on the banks of the Brazos puts you way the hell east of true centex, even your map shows that, but yes, do go ahead and try to parse the last bit of soil away from a huge enclave of racists located in east texas.
