I just thought of "Championship" and remembered the last year. It's a rough problem having multiple championships while I was alive. (Lookin' at Georgia.)

Not really called for, would expect from a mutt fan, not a Gator fan.

It's insane to me that people outside of Florida thinks he stinks and that some people in the fanbase think Jones should start.

A lot will depend on our O line improvement, but i can see a Joe Burrow type year for him in 2020 honestly. He'll surprise a lot of people.

I don’t think anyone thinks Trask stinks. He just doesn’t have the talent to get us a championship. He would have been good 20 years ago . Now QBs have to be able pass and have some ability to run the ball . Some fans are ok with 10-2 and Trask starting and other want to have a chance to win a championship. Franks and Jones are better runners are have a better deep ball.

if we continue down the road of ny6 bowls, we will eventually get lucky enough to get into the playoffs. i'm perfectly fine with where we are. if we end up 5 or 6 next year after the conference championships, i'll still be happy.

Franks' offenses never looked as good as our offense was last year, and our offense was no where near the problem for us.

You could make the argument for Georgia, but when the defense goes 12 - 18 on third down they get a huge blame sandwich, too. To put Georgia into 18 third downs and only get 33% of those downs stopped is atrocious, no matter what's going on with the other side of the ball.

In fact, our offense won us a ton of games.

Exhibit A: Virginia.

Their QB set a touchdown throwing record for himself (career high) and consistently drove down the field while the offense dunked on our defense.

Meanwhile, Trask quietly had a ~350 yard game even though he wasn't as sharp as he normally is.

Trask is the highest rated QB coming back next year, Emory Jones hasn't started a single game. We remember all of the good plays where he improved the run but you guys always forget that time in the UVA game he got banged up and had to be taken out. You forget all of the times that he was hit behind the line, or maximum he got 2 yards.

Trask is perfectly fine to get us to a championship and better than Franks, so I'm not sure why you're bringing up Franks' rushing and deep ball. He consistently lost us games or kept teams closer than they ought to be.
