Would have without a single doubt in my mind have gone undefeated and won a championship. The sheer amount of bad injury luck this season surpasses even last year, which I can hardly believe

When I was younger my dad told me a way to change my luck, but I’m not sure it would be the best option for an entire football team.........

Although Nina was special.

No doubt. Give me back just one of the inside linebackers and a healthy LaBryan Ray at DE and I like our chances. It's just not our year.

Yeah it’s pretty unbelievable when you put it that way

This was the year we couldn’t afford injuries on D and could handle anything but losing Tua on offense and every worst case scenario came true.

Yep. We were just snakebitten this year. The trolls on the rant can talk shite about “the decline” all they want, but this team was just destroyed by injuries. The worst part is that the injuries were all concentrated at the areas that are most critical and/or have the least depth.

-Starting all-everything Heisman candidate QB
-starting TE
-the third RB who was the “quick option”

-literally half our defensive front, including both inside LBs (with nothing but true freshmen to replace them)

-even the kicker

And despite all that we’re 9-1 with a decent shot at finishing 11-1, the loss being to the #1 team in the country by 5 points.

IMO this might be Sabans best job coaching ever.
