First regular season meeting ever as conference foes? About time this matchup happened.
Fans of teams from the west, tell me about this Aggie team.
Any A&M fans making the trip?

No, really, we played them regular season back in 1980.

Didn’t realized you hadn’t played since they’ve been in the SEC

Crazy that this will be the first matchup since expansion.

You are known for this throughout the land. It was developed in the big 12, and its continued. Sorry for acknowledging facts.

This Aggie team is YOUNG. We have half a dozen or so SRs, and basically none of them are starting at this time. The defense is pretty good, but the offense is wildly inconsistent due to a terrible OL. We are playing true fish all over the roster, but especially on offense
The OL is getting better at run blocking, but the pass protection is going to get Mond killed one of these days. I don't expect to get blown out, but don't expect to win either

Offense:
Inconsistent at best, "matador" at worst offensive line, but improving.
Mond has been pretty good (64% completion, 2400+ yards, 18 TD to 6 INT) despite being under constant pressure due to the aforementioned shitty offensive line.
Improving, but inconsistent running game that is just now finding its legs (pun intended). Leading rusher is about 200 short of 1,000 as a true freshman and backup is 240 lbs, but had a 75 yard TD run yesterday.
Receivers are a healthy mix of burners and reliable possession receivers and true freshman TE Wydermyer is much faster than he should be at 6'5 265 lbs.
Defense:
Not as strong against the run as last season but solid up front and much better at the back end. Can be susceptible to misdirection running plays and deep passes.
Special Teams:
Best punter in college football history, inconsistent place kicker (can hit 50 yarders and can miss 30 yarders)
