Not saying it’s going to happen, but everything is set up for him to go on a Cardell Jones type run. Najee is running strong and we have 4 playmakers at WR, who can break a game open with any given possession. Time for Mac and Sark to earn their keep.

Mac is serviceable, but nowhere near explosive enough to keep Bama in a game with LSU, Clemson, or OSU...not with this defense, anyway.

Why don’t we give him a chance? It’s his team now, maybe this pushes him to his best?

I believe Cardale Jones had a fantastic, experienced defense to soften the blow. Could be wrong though.

No, not really. Bama and Oregon both went up and down the field on them in the playoffs.

He didn’t lean on a defense, he leaned on Zeke Elliott. It is danged near impossible to lose when you have a back run for 476 yards (230 and 246) with an 8.5 ypc average in two games.

I wouldn't feel so uncomfortable about upcoming games if our defense was above average

I hear a lot of this, but if we are told to trust Saban when he leaves starters in blowouts, we have to do the same when certain players aren't where WE think they should be on the depth chart.

Baby Tua will never play meaningful snaps at Bama. He's nowhere close to Tua.

Yeah I feel you.

I’ll just go ahead and say this not targeted at anyone but, our team isn’t quitting, man the frick up. Mac could find his best games ahead. Brotherhood is forged in adversity. Get behind these guys, they need it now more than ever. Mac certainly needs support. He can do this. He is talented, let’s see where can take him.

I know it was MSU but the defense just stepped up and held a team to 7 points. Maybe just maybe that side of the ball mans up and takes on more of the burden from here out?

Mac will be the best quarterback on the field in our remaining scheduled games.
This is not debatable

I thought he did well in the arky game when they had time to get him ready. He’ll have a good game next week to give him a little confidence and he’ll be ready for Auburn. I’m just hoping our defense will be a little more aggressive than they have been so far.

I feel more confident in this offense with Mac going into Auburn than I did the 2017 offense with Jalen.
