I think the dynasty ended in California last January 44-16

How about LSU wins more than 1 game against Alabama every decade before we say it's over.

I don't think Dan recruits well enough to be in that elite, national title every year group.

How long will Florida accept this scenario?

As long as they are legit contenders every 3-4 years and the other years are 10-2 types I'd think they'd be ok with that?

Still not entirely convinced they compete every 3-4 years though.

Sounds like what LSU fans accepted under Les Miles.

And I was ok with that also for awhile.

But

I think if you’re not in the hunt every year, your program can easily revert back to average.

The goal should be a National Championship every year.

Yea - but that was Miles from 2005-2013ish. Miles lost you guys (and rightfully so), when he stopped going 11-2/10-3 in the "off years" and started going 8-5/9-3 and then started out what was sure to be another 8-5/9-4 season in 2016.

Richt had a similar fate.

Yep - Bleacher Report also has a really good write-up about it as well.
