That was an impressive defense.

Not true. LSU fans have told me the defense wasn't very good.

Auburn’s defense >>> Alabama’s defense.

I’d give Alabama’s defense some credit but they’ve played absolutely no one to tell if they’re any good. And the mediocre teams they’ve played, moved the ball pretty well. And those teams aren’t LSU.

AU’s defense played tough man football. That front 7 was strong. LSU left points on the field, but they had to earn what they did get.

Literally every LSU fan is saying Auburn's defense is legit.

Agreed. I was expecting elite interior line play. I was very impressed by the scheme and the success they had at forcing everything short.

LSU has feasted on deep throws this year. Auburn did a great job taking that away.

Bama is improving. I hope we can get LaBryan Ray back and we might be able to mount a pretty good pass rush. The interior run D is better. Pass coverage downfield is better.

The ILB 's are still blowing too many coverages. Third down has not been what it needs to be.

But one thing has been very noticeable. Terrell Lewis looks like we all knew he could. Leading the SEC in sacks and very dangerous off the edge. A difference maker. Now if Ray comes back and Christian Barmore can get one on one because of Lewis off the edge and Ray out there, we have a chance to bring some heat.
