We are more talented than almost everyone we play. We play a conservative style that leaves little margin for error. When we make an error, that margin gets even smaller.

Now the bad:

The post game press conference showed a coach who is gonna double down on this. He is gonna focus on eliminating mistakes (that’s what coaches do) not creating more room for error.

Let’s hope he can create his perfect team that doesn’t make mistakes, because there is little room for error when you are so conservative.

Kirby said all the right thing but he still has this stubborn: “We’re bigger than you so we’re gonna push you around” attitude. Someone better inform bowl cut that 10 in the box is greater than 5. Teams going forward, even UK to an extent, are going to press that until we can prove we can execute our downfield passing game. I have no doubt, ZERO, that this loss will open these guys eyes. It was just a matter of time slow start caused a loss. It was better that it’s still early enough to recover and it wasn’t against a good team. Hopefully, Jake and company will use this as motivation and punish the rest of the teams on the schedule.

I agree with everything you said except the part about this opening guys eyes.

We have seen nothing to indicate that Kirby Smart has an ounce of humility or self reflection.

He is a stubborn, arrogant micro manager that has built a loser staff. The type of shite show we saw yesterday isn’t fixed in a week or two. It needs a full staff overhaul, philosophy change, and most importantly, a head coach to realize that many of his base assumptions are wrong.

The best indicator of what people will do in the future is what they have done in the past. Kirby isn’t changing.

Yep, Kirby needs to have the same reality check that his mentor, Saban, had: sure build the strongest defense possible but with a wide-open innovative offense that gets playmakers in space. The later is mostly what we are lacking.

Mindset adjustment? Yes.

Full overhaul? No, and that's impossible in the short term anyway.

I just want Kirby to let Coley run the O and see what he can do. If he isn't up for it replace him next season, but let the man succeed or fail without handicapping him.

That isn't to say I know JC can do it - only that the current method is insufficient. This is the quickest way to shake things up, and Kirby owes the guy an opportunity to succeed or fail on his own merits.

Meh, when we let Fromm run the 2/1 minute offense we look good. Why not just start the freaking game that way?

When UGA plays fast, they’re damn near unstoppable on offense. You can play the dink and dunk game, but you have to so it a a pace that’s beneficial to your offensive identity.

Does anyone expect anything to really change? Coley will come out and we will play a Tennessee like game with Kentucky and Kirby and Coley will think all is well until we get beat by a Missouri or Florida and we will all be back talking about this again. We have the 6th ranked offense in the nation with the 61st ranked scoring offense.

One of my friends said the exact same thing yesterday.

Come out in the 3rd quarter in the hurry up offense. It is what Fromm does best. Most importantly..it prolongs the game(they weren't gonna score with their 3rd string QB and didn't). It becomes a war of attrition in the second half. We would have eventually wore them out as they don't have the depth. Make that switch to hurry up and we win going away.

opposing team's d-line occupies the dawg o-line and the backers/safeties fill the gaps..and we run right into it over and over again in hopes of breaking something..

without a fullback this is hard to pull off..

AND when we try to run outside we run sideline to sideline and this has not worked yet..and won't in the future..

this isn't "conservative" this is stubborn and stupid.

run the effing QB a few times..maybe a toss sweep or two..you know, stuff that workeed in the past.

Just watched every offensive play in the first half.

Coaches could vary the run game a bit, but the missteps we're mostly bad throws and bad choices from Jake. He didn't make a lot, but the ones he made killed drivers or resulted in turnovers.

Also Simmons didn't play well. Bad routes, no separation. Not a difference maker.
