The schedule set up well for them before the Wyoming game too. Having said that, if they don't pull another Wyoming, yes, could stand to have a solid season/record.

I'd like to sit in their meeting room and observe Walters.

When Odom was the safeties coach from 2009-2011, it was a sound group. Simmons, Jackson, Harrison were usually in the top 5 in tackles when they got primary reps and long scrimmage plays were minimal. The fact that he can't help his coordinator fix his room makes no sense.

Stec’s defenses weren’t as aggressive. Stec played way more zone. He had a front 4 that was able to more consistently get pressure on the QB.

Mizzou has played a lot more man coverage since Odom came back, and seems like they have blitzed at a much higher rate.

stec's defense also couldn't stop a high school team from running

His teams were actually really good against the run, unless the running game had misdirection, option or screen passes.

The reason they weren’t good against those is because of how Kul coached the DL.

Stec's defenses were fundamentally sound on the back end which allowed the pass rush to get home.

That was less the back end of the defense and more how the line handled the cut blocking that is the hallmark of the service academies.

Kul's linemen were pissing and moaning about getting "my career ended with that shite" on the sideline.

Oh I know, but it was so damn funny watching the Academy spit in Pinkles/Stecks eye. "You just go ahead and do what you do."

Same thing happened against Auburn in 2013.

Also in 2013 against SC and their screen game in the second half.
