They were able to find humans dumb enough to where they had to cheat at a school like State. Quite amazing actually.

Edit: well damn, beat me to it

It is amazing that a pinned thread isn't on this board...I guess it's a reflection of the concern about MSU. If Auburn had that going on we'd have a theme based OP and flow chart.

What I find incredible is that the players involved all cooperated with the NCAA, but the tutor accused of helping to pass the players refused to cooperate. MSU's losing a few schollies each year for 3 years, I think it is.

That’s rich considering Chauncey Rivers had to go JUCO to qualify at State after he started for Georgia.

You can't experience sudden success and not draw the attention of the NCAA...wait we are talking about State not Ole Miss....probation and no success, dont ever change State

That’s basically no punishment. They rarely have enough truly scholarship-worthy kids to fill 25 anyway. Wasn’t over half their 22-man class this year 3* or lower?

Rivers played on special teams and had a few plays on the DL in between his many drug suspensions. I don't think he ever was a "starter" for Georgia, unless you consider being in for the opening kickoff a starter. He actually was suspended for more games at Georgia than he played in.
