If we get steamrolled/lose inexplicably to LSU, UGA and Alabama and finish with a thud (as has been common), then I think the chatter will be there, much like it was this year. I just don't think it'll be enough to push us over the edge.
Of course, there are things that could be dealbreakers, like the prospect of a down year in 2020 anyway, a particular target not being available after this season, or a particularly bad beat down to a rival.
