Idiotic decision. frick our collective lives. At least we aren't wasting any more money than we already are on him since he isn't getting a pay raise with the extension.

Good ol' boy network at play. Add that to ppl feeling like they "owe" Tanner for the success in baseball. But get down to the nitty gritty and yes, he was an amazing baseball coach, but wasn't that what he was paid to do to begin with??

I love the University of South Carolina with every fiber of my being, but our entire administration and athletic department is an absolute disgrace and embarrassment.

They’re happy to give him more money while most alumni I know have either stopped entirely or drastically reduced their donations to the school over the past few years.
Our BOT and AD are an embarrassment and I’m happy not giving them another dime since they’d just waste it with idiotic decisions like this anyway.
