It was a controversial 1.5 seconds, but the best team won. Virginia had control of the game throughout, slowed the game down and didn’t allow Auburn to play their game. Congrats to Auburn on tying for 3rd.

As bad as Auburn shot, it’s amazing they had a chance.
If they would hace ahot their avg percentages, AU would have won by double digits.

Didn't think Auburn played well and yet they gutted it to the end without one of their 2 best players against a great team.
The ending is devastating only because of how close they clearly were to literally winning the whole thing.

UVA doesn’t let teams shoot their averages. If this game is played 10 times it’s likely a one possession game in 8. It’s much easier to slow pace than speed it up. You just have to accept it and adjust accordingly.

That’s the thing, Virginia defense has percentages, too, and they prevailed.
Virginia 3 pt% defense is 28%. Auburn shot 29%.
