Nice pickup. Not a lot of DT talent out there either, so scarcity makes them a bit more valuable.

South Carolina should be pretty well set up for the DL going forward for the next 3-4 years, with 2019 class of 5* DE Pickens, 4* DE Anderson, 4* DT Sorrells, 4* DT Green, 3* JUCO DE Davis, 3* DE Fitten, and 5* DT Belk who played this season but was tagged as part of the 2019 cycle. Add to that 4* DT Sandidge, 4* DE Enagbare, and 3* JUCO DT Ellis from the 2018 cycle.

And then add those to 4* DT Webb, 4* DE B. Johnson, 4* DE Sterling, and 3* DE T. Johnson who will all be Juniors for 2019. Actually Webb and T. Johnson red-shirted I think so they will be RS-Sophs. We should be OK at DL for a while, and should expect our DL play to improve substantially moving forward.

Those also will include seniors DTs Kinlaw and Smith, and DE/Buck Wonnum and Thomas for next season alone who were starters over the the previous 2 seasons and leaders on the defense...

It certainly is, and so is the OLine.

Now if we can put together a decent secondary and running game .... who knows.

He was being heavily courted by Bama, Tennessee, UF and some others but he visited Bama on an official over the weekend I think it was ... in the end he stuck with us. #Relationships = #Scholarships

That’s actually better than what just about anyone else in the country recruited over the past two years with the exception of Bama and, maybe, possibly, UGA. It could be argued that it is a better DLine class than what UGA has signed over the past two years.

OSU had a damn stout 2018 and 2019 combined DLine class for sure.

I’m thinking, we’ll ... hoping, that SC cleans-up in state with DLinemen for the 2020 class. It’s a loaded class this year.
