Didn't Petrino's first Arky team nearly lose to western Illinois?

I seem to remember them converting a 4th and 10 with a few minutes to go to actually stay alive against that FCS opponent. WIU was a sub 500 team that year too. Petrino, the offensive genius never even scored above 32 points in any game that season.

My point is patience Arkansas fans. Morris is a great coach, installing a much different offense and trying to bring a different mindset to the players. Bielema was a terrible hire from day one and I hate to say it, but I warned many Arkansas fans, but they didn't want to listen.

Is different than getting blown out by North Texas. This trend of losing to these schools started with John L Smith.

Fans can bitch all they want to, but Morris will be given time to turn it around.

Edit....Morris needs to get to work on our special teams. Installing a new offense shouldn't be a reason to ignore special teams. Coaches have always said you play like you practice and we have some of the worst special teams units in the country. This is fair criticism IMO.

North Texas would blow out the Western Illinois team we nearly lost to. If there's a loss to be upset about, it's Colorado State. North Texas is actually a decent team.
