It’s relatively new sport for us. But just about every meet the women are setting new personal and/or school records. Can’t ask for more than that at this time. It’s going to take time to build the program at Vandy but I’m still pleased that we are making (slow) progress.


One more thing - and this is a compliment to the rest of the SEC - might have been 10 years ago or so, women’s swimming was just a club sport and didn’t have scholarships or coaches but they did show up at the SEC championships. At the end of the meet, all the athletes and coaches from the other schools gave our women a standing ovation for showing up and competing. I always thought that was very cool of y’all.
