Keeping up with Big 12 basketball

I wanna talk some basketball. I haven’t kept up with sec basketball much but I am thinking it’s been a down year in the sec compared to what the experts thought was going to happen. Kentucky sure looks beatable and A@M is going to be fighting for tournament life if they don’t start winning sec games. Arkansas got a great win vs OU early in the year but have lost a few lately. Who is going to the tourney and who can make a sweet sixteen run.

Big 12 update. Conference is a 4 team race. West Virginia, OU, Kansas, Texas Tech. All 4 are going to be top 10 teams next poll and 3could be close to top 5. What really sticks out though is the entire depth of the conference. Even the bottom teams in the big 12 ala Kansas state and Iowa State are playing tough games vs the top tier teams. It really makes every game important. I know there is a lot of comparison for top basketball conference between Big 12 and ACC and most years the ACC fields the national champion in most cases or more final fours teams.. It is possible to get into the tourney by going 5-10 in league play and 7 teams are locks for the tournament with 8 possibly gettting in for the big 12.This is the year Kansas goes down imo...... Trey young is having an incredible year. Even his bad games he is over 25points and 8 assists. We just haven’t seen a player with stats like this since Pistol Pete. Seasons ending stats will be 30 ppg with 10assist ..... his rebounding has been incredible as well last two games he’s got about 20 rebounds.
