For those watching at home thru the app I wouldn’t put my faith in this as a reliable source come 8pm

We cut the cord a few years ago and have been watching through the app on my xbox. Last year was absolutely terrible but the app was improved when the season started this year. I hope they get it worked out in time for kickoff.

Was going to post the same thing.

All of the internet based TV apps have free trials:
Playstation Vue
Sling TV
Hulu TV
YouTube TV

sling tv

Sling is slightly delayed though (based on watching the Rose Bowl through Sling). I upgraded our package on Directv to include sports channels in order to get it through them.

do you only have TV through streaming service?

They'll all be delayed from true time by about 30 seconds based on my experience. I had PS Vue for the entire season - really enjoyed the service but cutting it until next football season.

Sometimes the delay is nice. When I'm reading the in-game thread, occasionally I know what's going to happen before it does and it gives me a few seconds to mentally prepare.

I tried watching the Rose Bowl on that shitty fricking app, and it kept freezing and buffering. It's been hot garbage all season.

I'm going to a bar to watch the game.

I do the same thing with PS Vue. Cut it between football seasons.

YouTube TV has been great and awesome quality casting to my Apple TV. ESPN on Apple TV was too choppy for me.

That's what I am thinking after testing it out. I think it must of just became available in my area cuz it was not in November. I plan to keep it and drop HULU if it stays this good over the next week.
