Quarterback: Nick Starkel is the current starter but needs refinement on his reads. To his credit, he has been getting better every week and definitely has the arm. Kellen Mond either needs to change positions or redshirt. He is NOT a D1 Quarterback (FBS or FCS) right now. If Connor Blumrick is more mobile than Starkel, he may overtake him.

Running Back: The #1 and #2 backs next year need to be Jacob Kibodi and Trayveon Williams. Not necessarily in that order. Bussey is a solid third option, but he's a tweener.

Wide Receiver: Needs to get A LOT better quickly. There is a significant dropoff from the departing Christian Kirk and even Damion Ratley. Right now, Cameron Buckley is the best returning WR on campus.

Tight End: We waited 6 seasons to finally use one. Can we PLEASE use Horry and McZeal the way they need to be used?

Offensive Line: It was bad this year. The good thing is that we return every single offensive lineman except for grad transfer Christian Daimler. Not just every starter, every single player.

If its Aggie Chad, our personnel will all be a good scheme fit. He will just need to upgrade talent across the board.

If its Jimbo, we really need to hit the grad transfer/JUCO market for TEs and FBs. Probably need to convert Gilly to FB as well. There will have to be attrition at WR to make room for guys at these position groups.

Horry (6'5 275) and McZeal (6'2 235) are both redshirting this year and have TE bodies.

As far as WR, we only have 9 players at WR. Of those, Rogers and Hansford can easily be spun to TE and Ausbon could as well.

Blumrick is faster than Mond FWIW.

Then he might be the starter next season.

Either way, Mond MUST redshirt to learn how to play quarterback or change positions.

Notice that Adrian Wolford is no longer listed on the roster, so I won't list him here.

3 questions for all respondents:

1. Who do you think leaves out of the players listed?

2. Who do you think changes positions?

3. Out of those in question 3...to what position?

What makes you so high on Kibodi?

Size and speed. He showed more during the ULL game than Bussey did all season. He's taller than Ford and only 10 lbs lighter.

I think both Anderson's are retiring due to injury.

He does look strong. Not ready to make any long term declarations based on five carries though.

The potential is there though and his ceiling is much higher than any of our other backs, even Williams.

If you don't believe that, you not only don't believe in evolution, but you hate my grandchildren as well.

Whoever remains needs to be in the weight room with the S&C coach ... right now and every day until Spring Practice.

If fisher can develop mond over the off season. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts over starkel. Mond has alot of potential.

Lol how is everyone not enamored with Nick Starkel? He has the potential to be the best pocket passer we have ever had. He should be the starter day 1 in the spring. He can flat out throw the ball. Im truly excited about our future with him behind center
