Source tells FootballScoop Fulmer is set to meet with Mel Tucker today in NYC. We understand this will be Tucker’s second talk with the Tennessee search. Kevin Steele remains a candidate and Chad Morris has visited with Fulmer as well (after already having visited with Currie). All of the above is per sources and we continue to hear that while in New York Fulmer is keeping his options open with regards to other potential candidates. We also though continue to hear Fulmer would like to have his man decided by the end of the day. Will update as more is clear.

If, after this giant clusterfrick of a coaching search, UT winds up with Fulmer as AD and Mel Tucker as head coach, I'm going to cum so hard I might pass out.

Come get Mark Stoops. It will give you the splash name you are so desperate for.

King Fulmer has not offered the job to anyone yet after the CS17 reset.

So whoever we get will be VOLS first choice

Fulmer isn't hiring Tucker. He's just fricking with UGA's CFP prep.

I heard Les Miles on the radio last night. It was re air of interview before the SEC Championship game(he picked UGA). Anyway, before they reaired this interview The dj said he made an agreement not to ask about the UT job. He did not ask about UT, but Miles did say, "I have it on good authority that UT will be a much better football team next year." So 2 questions come to my mind. 1) Why would Les Miles not want them to ask about a job he is not interested in? 2) Why would he say that at the end of the interview when UT was never mentioned at all. All of the questions asked were about the SECG as per the agreement made to get Miles on air. I don't know, but it seems like Miles wants the job and he seems like a much better candidate than these coordinators they are interviewing. I suspect Miles(Sexton) is already negotiating salaries, and these interviews are for his assistants.

This is going to end up like when Dick Cheney was in charge of selecting W Bushes running mate. The logical choice was himself

It's all a ruse. Fulmer's going to hire himself....

I hope it happens. Miles + Tee would be the best option by far.

Tee or no Tee. I think UT needs to jump on an experienced championship coach who clearly wants the job. He may only have for it for 5-10 years, but he would leave the program much better than he found it. I don't think you can say that about the other candidates, other than Leach.

You and V&S need to make sure that your next head coach is nothing like Derek Dooley or Lyle "Butch" Jones
